The Photosmart C7280 is supported by HPLIP 2.7.9 so your currently installed version (2.8.2) should work.

Although you want to print to the printer wirelessly using the printer built in wifi is the printer getting an IP address? If so you can then run:

sudo apt-get install python-qt3

Then run:

sudo hp-setup

Select network and then it may detect the printer, if it doesn't you can select manual and enter the printer IP address and then hp-setup should detect the printer.

Verify the printer is getting an IP address and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps.
