3.16.3 hplip is no new version of why? HP 3700 can not connect ???? recognized with ubuntu but nothing happens thank you

Hi,

Download and install the latest HPLIP release(3.16.7) from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/install/index.html.

Then try connecting with your printer. However if you still face issue with printer installation report back with the exact printer details.
