hp 1020 laserjet not responding

the problem is same as question 29849 posted by rathish.printer is getting installed but no print command or test page is coming out on ubuntu 7.10.not getting the firmware sihp1020.dl in foo2zjs.rkkda.com. even getweb1020 is not connecting.please can you guide in detail.needs to be solved urjently.
can i expect reply from aaron albright as i found he solved similar problems.

The problem is probably that the printer is not being configured using hp-setup. Using the default ubuntu tool to configure the printer wont work because the ubuntu printer tool does not load the printer firmware.

Run terminal/console and then execute:

hp-setup -i

and this should take care of it.

after running hp-setup-i we are getting the following error msg.
error:no devices found
error:error occured during interactive mode.exiting.
pls suggest

Please run:

/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp

and post the output.
