The Color LaserJet CP1215 will be supported in a future release of HPLIP. Of course I'm not promising anything--however we are hoping to add support either in the next release or the release after.

Aaron,

I was wondering have you perhaps encountered unexpected problems in trying to accommodate cp1215 in HPLIP? (E.g. licensing issues or something equally non-technical?) The reason I'm asking that at the time of your (optimistic :-) post HPLIP was at version 2.8.4 and currently it is already at 2.8.12---and if I understand correctly it still does not support cp1215..?
