HP OfficeJet H470 and HP PhotoSmart A710 portable printers: Battery level not shown

Asked by Till Kamppeter

Some years ago I had an HP DeskJet 450 portable printer with battery and it showed the battery level on the "Supplies" tab of the hp-toolbox. The HP OfficeJet H470 and HP PhotoSmart A710 have also rechargeable batteries, but for both printers the battery level is not shown in the hp-toolbox.

Currently, I have only these two printers with battery. I do not have the DeskJet 450 any more. So it is possible that the battery level display does not work for all printers.

There is no bug report. Responses from testers are needed. Best asked in UbuntuForums.
