HPLIP

hplip-3.15.11-plugin.run fails

Hi,

System ubuntu 15.10
Printer: CP1217
hplip 3.15.11 installed

my problem is that the plugin script (hplip-3.15.11-plugin.run) hangs after confirmation of licence terms.

i tried as user and superuser.

any ideas?

It is a bug in 3.15.11-plugin.run file . We are working on the fix. You can find the work around for the same provided by Sergey here https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1521006.

Hi Erdmuggl ,

Can you provide us the output of the below commands:

1. sh hplip-3.15.11-plugin.run -- -ig
2. python --version

This issue is now fixed in hplip-3.16.2. Please install the same from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/install/index.html
