HPLIP

ran make commmand as root not as user

how can i fix this? i haven't done anything else since this happened, i want to make sure of what my next step should be.

hi,
before you run make command as root you must first have root privileges ! to do this , if your have Ubuntu just open your terminal and type" sudo -i " and then type your password when done you shall see # instead of $ sign. i hope i have well understood your question and answer to it!
