HPLIP

Color LaserJet Pro M252dw

Hi, i buy a new HP printer : Color LaserJet Pro M252dw and i have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, so the problem is : i cant select the 2-sided on the priority of the printer.
It is the printer which is too new that HPLIP cant drive it ?

Hi,

Please follow below steps.
=> Download and install the latest HPLIP release from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/install/index.html

=> Reconfigure print queue using below commands.

       => hp-setup -r (remove all print queues)

      => sudo hp-plugin (This will download right plugin)

       => hp-setup

      => Goto localhost:631/printers => Select printer => Administration => Set Default Options => Options Installed => Duplexer Unit and enable it.

=>Open any application and select duplex option and try printing now.
