Installing the latest Hplip in Black Lab Linux??

Asked by PinStriped Tie

Hello, I am using the latest 6.5 KDE Black Lab Linux which I believe is built on Kubuntu LTS.
My printer is the HP MPF LaserJet Pro m225dw

I just installed the latest Hplip using your auto-install for Ubuntu 14.04 and followed all the directions to a T. Then I rebooted and proceeded to locate my printer in the printer settings config prog. My printer was still NOT there!

What do I need to do to get it to work?

Hi,

Are you trying to configure the printer over network or USB ?
To configure printer please type in command 'hp-setup' in terminal and it should be able to help you in configuring the printer.

Let us know if you are still facing the problem.
