How can I access HP Toolbox in Ubuntu?

Using Ubuntu 14.04, printer is HP Deskjet 1050-J410.

Additional info:- I want to clean the print heads and cannot find out how to do it. "HP Device Manager (aka Toolkit)" is mentioned in several places, (KB etc) but I can't seem to access it.

Hi RayArdia,

Please download the latest hplip-3.14.10.run file from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html. Install it by running command "sh hplip-3.14.10.run" in terminal.

After installation is complete, run command "hp-toolbox" in terminal to launch toolbox . To clean print heads run command "hp-clean".

Let us know if you are still facing the issue.

Thanks goutam, now I've got the toolbox!
After doing the cleaning processes 1-3 I still get a missing line of print: in the output after cleaning prints only half (height) of alpha-numeric line one of the four different fonts.
I'd like to attach a screeshot but don't know how on this forum!
