my device does not print sayin it ran out of paper. I filled it in but it does not work

I was trying to print a document and the printer ran out of paper.
I did put paper in it but it seems not to recognise it and does not print
what can I do?

HP Printer 1005
ubuntu 14.04

i used system-config-printer and solved the problem...
