Printed Page shifted to the right

Asked by Willi Wichtig

OS: openSuse 13.2 (I know not yet supported but I hope you work on it and can still help)
Printer: LaserJet M1212nF MFP
hp check output at the bottom (doesn't show any errors)

Any page I print (even the test page) is shifted. If I print the test page on A4 paper the printout is shifted about 5cm to the right, so it needs two pages to print that page and on the first page I have a 5 cm margin on the left and on the second page I have a 5cm margin on the right. top and bottom is okay. The size of the print is okay as well I can use the ruler marks on the test page they have the right size,it is just a shift. On US 8.5x11 paper it shifts down and to the side, so I need for sheets of paper for the test page.

Any idea? Thanks!

has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).

Because you wrote:
"openSuse 13.2 ... test page ... needs two pages to print"
it seems you hit the openSUSE bug
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=904652

Re-installing the cups-filters-ghostscript fixes it.
To do that run as root:

zypper install --force cups-filters-ghostscript

Afterwards restart the cupsd.
To do that run as root:

rccups restart

Willi Wichtig,
please report here whether or not this fixes the issue.
