Color Laserjet MFP M476dn not printing with Linux
Despite being listed as Linux compatible I can't get it to print under Linux, Kubuntu 14.04 or Xubuntu 14.04. I bought this printer specifically because the HP sales rep told me it would work with Linux. I have used the latest HPLIP 3.14.6 and I ran hp-doctor and hp-check without any apparent error. Everything seems to be working well up until I actually try to print something when I get errors as if the printer was not connected. I actually got a preliminary indication of a problem, just before clicking to print a test page the HP Device Manager puts a red button with a white X over the icon of the printer. I also submitted a bug report, so you can get the output of hp-check-log there. #1373551
