HPLIP

I can't install HP m1522nf

Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and I need to install a m1522nf printer in a network (ethernet). I've test with cups but this model doesn't appears in the list and I haven't any ppd file. Can anybody help me??

The HP LaserJet M1522nfs MFP is supported by hplip, however it is only supported in the latest release of hplip. You'll want to uninstall hplip using apt-get,

sudo apt-get remove hplip

and then install the latest version of hplip from our website.

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/downloads.html

Ubuntu 7.10 is fully supported by the auto installer, so you'll want to follow that install process.

New version of the driver works fine. I'll wait for the scan driver.
