Test with Pexpect beta?

Asked by Thomas Kluyver

I note that hplip uses the Python module pexpect. I've taken over maintenance of this, and am preparing to make a new release. This should be backwards compatible, but it would help me if you could test the beta to ensure that it doesn't break anything that HPLIP is doing.

You can download the latest beta release from:
https://github.com/pexpect/pexpect/releases/download/3.0b2/pexpect-3.0b2.tar.gz

Sorry, this isn't exactly a support question, but it was the best way I could see to ask the HPLIP team about this. Thanks!

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for the update on pexpect module. We will test our HPLIP on the pexpect beta and let you know if we find and issues.

Thanks,
Goutam
