Hplip translations available in sources and binaries but not used
Hplip seems to be translated in some languages (de, es, fr, it, pt, ru, zh), but although the related files are present in the folder called "localization", the interface is still in english. I've tried to run hplip in Italian on a Kubuntu 13.04 machine (hplip 3.13.3) and on an Arch Linux installation (hplip 3.13.8), but both have an english interface, despite the localized files have been installed.
What's the source of this problem? Why doesn't hplip use the translations? Is there a way to try to force hplip to use a specific language?
Thanks
Stefano

Hi there,
Any news about the translations ?
It really should be translated as it's a must have program for the hp printers owners...
