Optional plug-in drivers are stopped in printing process

Some drivers which have "Optional" driver plug-in, are stopped in printing process. The reason is that HPCUPS filter cannot initialize job because missing plugin library(error log "m_Job initialization failed with error = 48").
I tested with hp-laserjet_professional_p1608dn and hp-laserjet_professional_p1606dn drivers. The phenomenon occurs the same on both HPLIP 3.11.12 and 3.13.6.
My PC is Ubuntu 11.04 and has not installed HPLIP plug-in yet.

I would like to confirm that I can print these drivers(hp-laserjet_professional_p160xdn) without installing HPLIP plug-in or not? Because I see they don't require HPLIP plug-in, they are only "Optional" plug-in!
If can print without plug-in, please help me how to configure them. Thanks!

Other "Optional" plug-in drivers as HP Color LaserJet 3550n Printer, HP Color LaserJet 3550 Printer, HP LaserJet 1022nxi Printer and etc., we can print them without installed plug-in or not?

Hi Phan Hoai Vu Luynh,

hp-laserjet_professional_p160xdn (p1606dn, p1607dn, p1608dn and p1609dn) printers requires the plugin's so please install the plugin and perform print Job.

We will fix this in next HPLIP release.

     I understood, I installed the plugin and performed print job successfully.
