hplip-3.13.4.run

hplip-3.13.4.run worked perfectly with my HP Laserjet P1006 in Linux Mint 13 Mate; however, subsequent releases (hplip-3.13.5.run and 3.13.6.run) require a reinstall after bootup to work with any Linux Mint distro. I am currently using Linux MInt 15 Mate and have hplip-3.13.6.run installed. Popup windows (HPLIP Device Status) shows that the printer has started a print job/has completed a print job, but printer does nothing.

 1. Do you have any suggestions to correct this?
 2. If not, can you tell me how to download a copy of hplip-3.13.4.run?

Amarnath, I inserted the edit, but just couldn't make hplip-3.13.6.run work with my system. I removed it and replaced it with a hplip-3.13.4.run that I found in sourceforge, and disabled the updates in hplip. Everything is working perfectly.
