Printer won't print--job stuck in print que

Tried to print a picture and nothing happened. Looked in print que and saw job just sitting there. I tried to cancel the job and for 3 days job has said deleting. I also tried canceling all print jobs and no success. Job should have cancelled by this time,

Hi Richard,

Please check if Print Queue is stopped/paused.
1) run "hp-toolbox" command and select the printer and go to "Printer Control".
--> if is stopped, then click the start Printer button.

(or)
Run "hp-doctor" command in the terminal
