install a deskjet 5525 hp on Linix

I have a deskjet 5525 printer.

I want to install it in the system Linus, but this machine was not listeted .

When iwas trying to download the software installer.

How should I proceed?

Hi Maria Lucia,

HP Deskjet IA 5525 is supported by HPLIP, please install the drivers from @http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install.html
If your Distro is not supported for Auto installation, can install using "manual installation" and all the steps given in above link.

Let us know if you are facing any issue along with Which Distro including version and what issue you are facing .
