My HP LaserJet Professional m1213nf MFP does not print to samba network share. Error: stopped "/usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed". Local USB works fine. OS Ubuntu 12.04 (64), Driver hpcups 3.12.2.

Hi Fernando,

Please provide following logs

1) enable cups logs
--> open /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file in root mode
--> change from
     LogLevel warn
-->change to
     LogLevel debug
     hpLogLevel 15

2) restart cups service
$ sudo service cups restart

3) clean the /var/log/cups/error_log , /var/log/syslog
$ sudo cp /dev/null /var/log/cups/error_log
$ sudo cp /dev/null /var/log/syslog

4) run hp-check command
$ hp-check &>check.log

5) perform the print functionality

5) attach /var/log/cups/error_log, /var/log/syslog and check.log by creating bug
or
copy paste the content of logs here as logs can't be attached in this question.
