Configuring a PCL 5 Driver

Asked by Ray Bell

I have a Troy MCR 4250 Check printer and have not been successful in installing the printer on a Red Hat 5.8 Linux server so we can prints check. I have the printer install but the checks are not printing out properly. The Trog support said all I need is a PCL5 driver to get it working. I work with Red Hat support to identified the PCL 5 driver and I added it but still no success. I just need some assistance in getting this working.

Hi Ray,

We don't support PCL5 in our HPLIP driver.
