Hi Leonard Bowman,

Currently eFax feature is not supported by HPLIP.
If you are looking to send Fax job using wireless please follow below steps.

1) Both laptop and printer needs to be connected same wireless network.

2) As Officejet Pro 8600 is connected to Wireless modem, assuming IP address is displaying on printer panel.
    Note:- If IP address is not displaying on printer panel, follow below steps
                 --> Connect the Printer to PC/latop using Usb cable
                 --> run hp-wificonfig command in terminal
                        $ hp-wificonfig -g
                --> follow navigation
                --> IP address will be displayed at the end
                --> USB can be disconnected.

3) run hp-setup command to setup the printer using above IP address
    $ hp-setup -g <IPaddress>

4) now send the Fax from PC/laptop either from application or hp-sendfax command
   $ hp-sendfax

Thanks & Regards,
Amarnath
