HPLIP

all network prints fail

I'm using my Apple PowerPC 3,1 as a personal home server. I'm running LuixMintPPC, or Debian 7.0, it has Samba and CUPS installed. The problem occurs when I try to print something from another device, like my iPod, for example. When I check the Job state on CUPS it reads:
stopped
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed"

I've googled, everything, I've Reinstalled CUPS and nothing seems to work. Please help, if you need me to give you more information let me know.

Hi Ev,

   foomatic-rip filter is not from HP. You need to install HPLIP driver from hplip.net . CUPS should use hpcups filter.

Please do let us know once you installed hplip driver.
