hp printer fax/scan is totally black paper

hp laserjet pro CM1415fnw--the light on the scanner/fax/copier won't come on high. the copy comes out completely black. I found where i could have downlaoded an upgrade but it asked for OS. its drop down had only 7 and 8 version on microsoft. Nothing for linux OS. Can you please help.

You can download the linux driver from www.hplip.net and install it on linux OS.

For problems related to Windows OS, contact HP total care www.hp.com.
