Scanner not detected via wifi for HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z

Hi,

I have a problem with my HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z when trying to access the scanner function. It simply is not found. Printing works fine.
This is happeing after I setup my Linux totally new. Before that the printing wasn't working but the scanner did work.
Using Windows all functions (printing, scanning and fax) of the printer work in wireless mode without a problem. Therefore it is not a hardware problem.

But first all required information (as I hope):
The Linux Distribution is: Linux Mint 13
Kernel version: 3.2.0-35 x86_64
HPLIP Version: 3.12.11 (I tried also older versions back to the version coming with the distro (3.12.6))

No matter which solutions where offered on the HPLIP website they all didn't solve the problem. I did find out that the user wasn't added to the scanner group, but after adding myself it didn't solve the problem.

No scanner found and no logging to syslog (export SANE-DEBUG-DLL=128; scanimage -L)

The snmpwalk command doesn't return anything either (timeout), not even for my other wireless printer, but as mentioned before - printing works for both printers.
I can ping the printers - that works.

The URI for xsane is set correctly to 'hpaio:/net/Office...'

I hope somebody can give me a hint how to solve this problem?
