HP Laserjet M1522nf Linux Driver

Hi all,
I have a HP Laserjet M1522nf with network. I have install the HP driver version 3.12.11 but after installation, I am not able to use the scanning function of the printer. When I type dpkg -l hplip,

When I check on my Software Manager in Linux Mint 14(64bits), the latest version is only 3.12.6-3ubuntu4. After installing the version in my Software Manager, scanning support work. As there 2 different version, may I know which one should I stay on? For version 3.12.11 scanning support is not working but version 3.12.6, scanning support. Is there any way to make scanning support in version 3.12.11? Here is the output from hp-check -t
