device communication error 5012

Asked by gollog7@gmail.com

Connection from Compaqw C60 to HP D110a Wireless printer. I am getting hplip device communication error 5012.
It will connect only long enough to print the test page. I then must rerun "wireless settings" which will reconnect until the test page is printing.

Linux says airplane mode is off, but hplip seems to think it is on, at least on one occasion. I have run rfkill list to check for soft and hard blocks, and have them both set to NO for both phy0 and hp-wifi wireless LAN

Linux O/S: Ubuntu 12.04

Wireless Network Test Report shows all PASS and Signal Quality Excellent
Config Source DHCP
No encryption for now
Authentication is Open Source
Channel is : 6
Printer radio is on and blue wireless light is steady.
Printer works properly as USB in Ubuntu and both USB and wireless in Windows 7.
