Deskjet HP 2516 All-in-one-Printer Don't Scan

I don't have success to make the scans with hplip-gui, xsane and scanimage. Ever I've this message:
Failed to open device 'hpaio:/usb/Deskjet_2510_series?serial=...': Invalid argument.

My distro is linuxmint 11.

This is the output of 'hp-check -rt':

Hi,

Please check "hpaio" is not comment in "/etc/sane.d/dll.conf"
-->if "#hpaio" present, then change to "hpaio".

check libsane-hpaio is present.

$ ls -l /usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.*
following files needs to be present.
-->/usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.la
-->/usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.so -> libsane-hpaio.so.1.0.0
-->/usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.so.1 -> libsane-hpaio.so.1.0.0

If everything is correct, post here following output
$ hp-scan -g

--> also send us "/var/log/syslog" file
