are there plans to support the scan and fax feature (via network and usb)
for the LaserJet m2727nf device?

We are hoping to provide support for scan and fax sometime in the future but I don't have any eta on if/when this may occur.

It's been half a year... any ETA yet?

I missed the "Scanning is not currently supported on this device" and purchased a m2727nf. I've had great success with hp printers and multifunctions with linux in the past, so I bought it taking Linux support for granted. :-/
