HPLIP

tried installing HPLIP-3.12.9, but error comes up saying cupsext could not be loaded. also unable to use hp-setup. printer is hp laserjet p2055dn and os is centos 6.2

Please help me getting my HP laserjet p2055 printer working. The operating system I am using is centos 6.2. I tried to install hplip-3.12.9, but unable to do so. There is an error saying cupsext could not be loaded. Also hp-setup and hp-check commands are not working. Kindly help me.

Hi Suneetha,

Please install hplip using following command

$ su -c "yum install hplip"

And later install HPLIP-3.12.9 from following site.
http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/manual/distros/centos.html
