Hi,

Generally CUPSEXT will be present in the OS, however please try following commands to install.

$ sudo apt-get install hplip
$ sh hplip-3.12.9.run

Thanks & Regards,
Amarnath

Hello,

I used the sudo apt-get install hplip and got:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
hplip is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 292 not upgraded.

I then ran:
sh hplip-3.13.4.run

and got the same error:
warning: CUPSEXT could not be loaded. Please check HPLIP installation.

Any recommendations on this? Thank you.
