Manual duplex and booklet printing on CM1415fn

Manual duplexing is currently not supported by HPLIP. We only support Auto duplexing. Currently we dont have any plan for supporting this feature. Sorry for the inconvenience.

well I think that I can resolve using a custom script for doing manual duplex (print odd pages, and afterwards even pages).

However does exist a way to pause the printer between the two print jobs, so that I can move the paper down?

I mean, can I have access only to that "feature" of the printer itself?

Hi Angelo,

There is option where you can select Even Pages or Odd pages while printing from toolbox or from application (Some application provides this feature). If you are printing from toolbox there is "Page Set" option under "Job Option", where you can select Even Pages or Odd Pages.

Unfortunately it doesn't.

I would like to send odd and even pages as two consecutive jobs, but I need to have access to the manual duplexing feature of the printer that awaits for the user to move the printer pages down to the tray and click OK on the printer itself.

I was arguing that I need access to that feature only, because the rest of the manual duplexing process can be easily scripted (printing even and odd pages).
