Printing an Envelop C5 paper on Envy 110

Asked by ThOR27

Hi,

I want to pinrt on an envelop that is named as Envelope C5 on OpenOffice. (size is 22,9 x 12,20 cm).

When I print I get incorect margins, and if I go to printer settings the paper size get automatically sets to Oufuku-Hagaki (200x148mm) and it doesn have the Envelope C5 size there to choose.

How can I correctly print on this envelop?

I'm using ubuntu 11.0 with official hplip package (not the ubuntu provided one) version 3.12.2

Thanks!

Note: hp-check can be run in three modes:
1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the
HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies
are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.

supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball
has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode

Hi,

Envelop C5 paper size is missing in the PPD /etc/cups/ppd/ENVY_110.ppd. We will add this in our next release of HPLIP. For time being you can apply the below lines in the PPD file /etc/cups/ppd/ENVY_110.ppd .

Edit the PPD file /etc/cups/ppd/ENVY_110.ppd

sudo gedit /etc/cups/ppd/ENVY_110.ppd

Add the below lines in there respective sections:

*PageSize EnvC5/C5 Envelope 162x229mm: "<</cupsInteger0 91/PageSize[457.92 649.44]/ImagingBBox null>>setpagedevice"

*PageRegion EnvC5/C5 Envelope 162x229mm: "<</cupsInteger0 91/PageSize[457.92 649.44]/ImagingBBox null>>setpagedevice"

*ImageableArea EnvC5/C5 Envelope 162x229mm: "9 42.189998626709 448.920013427734 640.440002441406"

*PaperDimension EnvC5/C5 Envelope 162x229mm: "457.920013427734 649.440002441406"

Save the file . And check if you are able to set and print the Envelop C5 papar size in OpenOffice.

Sorry for delay in response and inconvenience caused

Thanks & Regards,
Goutam Kodu
