HPLIP

Office Depot has a HP 1022ws (wireless) printer. Will there be linux support for this printer?

Office Depot sells a HP 1022ws wireless printer. I do not see this printer listed on HP's website and I do not see this printer listed as on off the supported printers for linux. Will one of the other 1022, 1022n or 1022nw drivers work for this printer? Want to make sure before I buy the printer.

My guess is that the "ws" is a mis-print. We have no record of a 1022ws
model number. The wireless equipped model is a 1022nw. Anyway, if this
model does in fact exist, it will be easy to get it working in HPLIP with a
small edit to a config file that you can do.

Thanks for the question.

There is a driver for the HP Laserjet 1022 in the ubuntu (linux) printer database. Since the wireless connection is just "another ethernet connection", there should be not problems. However, I have never tested a wireless printer on ubuntu.
