No "duplex" option in gtklp

Asked by January

Hi,

I am not quite sure whether this is the right place to ask that sort of question.

The problem: gtklp does not show an option to switch off/on the duplex printing. However, the gnome print dialog (e.g. from gpdf) does.

It can be a gtklp issue (but I know that gtklp can show this option for other printers) or a CUPS server issue (again, gtklp is known to be compatible in that respect).

Any hints?

This is actually a gtklp concern. You may want to contact them directly as they can help further:

http://gtklp.sourceforge.net/

Thanks for supporting hplip!

Actually, it was neither.

It was a weird cups problem due to a very special configuration that we have here. Essentially, it was a network setup problem. Don't worry, it is not likely to occur anywhere else :-)
