I can't load hplip-3.11.10.run

I keep getting message error: Configure failed with error: python-devel not found

Hi, Thanks for the information. Can you do the following things.

1) PLease provide us the output of "hp-check -t" command run from the terminal.

2) Please make sure that repositery is well updated and your package manager works fine on terminal before running the hplip-3.11.10.run file.

I enter hp-check-t on UBUNTU terminal......And NADA!

Should I enter any characters along with it?

Please let us know which operating system you are using.
If possible please post us the complete terminal output of "sh hplip-3.11.10.run".
