what's the progress of scan support for CM1017 MFP?

Is there a workaround using netcat, telnet or a small perl script?

Has there been any progress in this area?
If there are IP problems, as a last resort, would it be possible to release a binary blob for the scanner?

Johan,

Actually there has been progress. Support for scanning on the CM1017 will be supported in the near future. We are hoping in the next 3-4 releases this will be provided. Of course I'm not promising it exactly, however our goal is before summer to have this supported.

Hi,
same problem for the successor CM1312 it looks like scanning is not supportet under Linux. Will the development of the scan support for the CM1017 be droppt for the benefit of CM1312 ???

I hope both have the same driver (problem) and can be released together....

I truly hope the cm1015MFP (same as 1017, but USB instead of network) will be supported in the near future as well.
