Cannot get plug-in file for LaserJet P1102

Asked by Sergey

Have just bought HP LaserJet Pro P1102, trying to install it under Ubuntu 10.04. I have downloaded and compiled hplip 3.11.7, run it as sudo hp-setup, it goes well up to the moment when it needs plug-in file from hp site, then after a while it breaks complaining file either corrupted or altered. What can I do? Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Plugins for HPLIP are uploaded at http://www.openprinting.org website, which is unfortunately down due to an unexpected issue. Since the webserver is not available, installation of plugins is failing. We will get back to you once we make alternative arrangements for accessing the plugins.

Thanks,
Sanjay Kumar
