Not able to Scan using Hp laserjet M1132 on Linux MInt11

I installed hplip on my pc and the printing jobs are working fine, but the scanner is not working at all. It would be great if someone cn help me cos its very urgent.

Hello,

  HP Laserjet M1132 requires a plugin file to support scan. Please run "hp-plugin" in the terminal. It will download and install plugin file.

  If it doesn't work, post the output of "hp-check -t" here.
