Cannot print from black ink cartridge on hp officejet 6500 E709 printer. Was printing, then suddenly quit printing. Put a new cartridge in printer, but this did not help.

Hi,

Thanks for logging the bug. To help us understand the bug, please do the following things.

1) Attach the output (hpheck.txt) of following command run in the terminal.
    hp-check -t > hpcheck.txt

2) a)Open /etc/cups/cupsd.conf in root mode and replace

        LogLevel warn

          with

       LogLevel debug
       hpLogLevel 15

    b) Restart cups using following command:
        /etc/init.d/cups restart (in root mode)
                  or
        service cups restart

    c) Run the failing test case and then attach
       => /var/log/messages file(if present)
       => /var/log/syslog file(if present)
       => /var/log/cups/error_log
       => /tmp/hpcups*.bmp files(if present)

       => Actual Document used for testing.

Which application did you use for testing?

Thanks,

I have tried to print the print status report and all inks are showing except the black ink which the first screen says it's full because I just replaced it.

Can you help with this problem?
