Hi jesse,

Internet connection is must to install the Linux drivers, as it downloads the required dependencies and Plugin from the internet while installation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks and Regards,

FYI:

Of course an Internet connection is a must to download it
but I think it might be possible to separate the two steps
"download" and "installation".

Perhaps one could download e.g. hplip-3.11.3a-plugin.run
on a host with Internet connection and then copy it
to the machine without Internet connection and install
the plugin there by running e.g. hplip-3.11.3a-plugin.run
on the machine without Internet connection.

E.g. hplip-3.11.3a-plugin.run can be downloaded directly from
http://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/

Can you help with this problem?
