Device not found in Device Discovery

I'm unable to find my new printer during Device Discovery of the hp-setup program. I'm attempting to connect wirelessly which is working fine with WindowsXP and Windows7.

The environment is:

1) RedHat Enterprise Linux Release 6

2) HP 8500A - A910a

3) hp-check -t :
HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.9.8)
Dependency/Version Check Utility ver. 14.3

4) I believe not finding the printer wirelessly is really all the details I have.

5) Here's the steps I go through:

- run "hp-setup"

- From the "Device Discovery" panel I select the "Network/Ethernet/Wireless network (direct connection or JetDirect)" radio button. Click next

- On the command line where the hp-setup was run, I get the error:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
