provide a link to download a driver for hp laserjet m1005 mfp

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and I am trying to install a HP M1212nf printer and after running the automatic installer I am getting the following message:

warning: Missing REQUIRED dependency: gcc (gcc - GNU Project C and C++ Compiler)
warning: This installer cannot install 'gcc' for your distro/OS and/or version.
error: Installation cannot continue without this dependency. Please manually install this dependency and re-run this installer.

Is the dependency GCC not available yet for Ubuntu 10.10? If it is already available what procedure should I follow to complete the installation?

Try to install the following packages:

gcc
gcc-4.4
gcc-4.4-base
gcc-4.5-base

Wrtite In the Terminal:

sudo apt-get instal gcc gcc-4.4 gcc-4.4-base gcc-4.5-base
