Your workaround may work, but better to add below mentioned section in the model file. Sometime product may have new feature or new protocol supported. We are supporting this printer in our upcomming release.
One question, Is pid is 8e11 or e11, It should be e11.

I confirm usb-pid as per result of lsusb command:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 03f0:8e11 Hewlett-Packard

I tried your section, using the printer / scanner over wifi connexion
- io-mfp-mode=1 does not work, (io-mfp-mode=3 works)
- scan-type=7 works, (scan-type=1 was already working) which one is the best ?
- what is the purpose of changing scan-style to 0 (None or n/a) instead of 1 (Flatbed) ?

A few more info:
HP Device Manager / Supplies reports wrong cartridges (r0=>564/564XL instead of 364/364XL)
hp-levels reports different, still wrong cartridges (r4=>178/178XL)
No problem for me as I use the wifi connexion and Embedded Web Server reports the right type of cartridges

both scan-type=1 and scan-type=7 are same for HPLIP 3.10.6 release. You can ignore scan-style variable.
Also, set ip-mfp-mode=3 as of now.

Can you please let me know which region you have selected when you configure your printer?
I will check cartridge values and let you know.
Also, Please let me know cartridge number you are using.
