Hi,

Please delete all the Print Queue from the CUPS.
Replace the USB Cable.
Configure the device using "hp-setup -g" from the terminal. If you still face the problem, paste the complete output from terminal here.

Thanks for your support towards HPLIP.

Please launch "Synaptic Package Manager" from System -> Administrator Menu and let me know the version of following packages.
1. libusb and
2. libusb-dev

Thanks and Regards,
Srikanth Lokare

libusb and:
there is no such package in my Synaptic Package Manager. It don't appear at all...

When I search libusb packeages, that's the packages installed:
libusb-dev: 0.1.12-14ubuntu0.2
libusbmuxdl: 1.0.2-lubuntu2
libusb-0.1-4: 0.1.12-14ubuntu0.2
libusb-1.0-0: 2:1.0.6-1
Thank's again...

Hi,

Well the libusb version is also correct.

1. Please Unplug the USB cable.
2. Delete all the Print Queues from the CUPS.
3. Restart the system.
4. Plugin the USB Cable again. Device will get configured automatically.

If the problem still persists, set the permission 777 for the USB port and try again.

Thanks and Regards,
Srikanth Lokare
