HPLIP - Error 5012 and Error 5021,impossible to print anything

I'm with ubuntu 10.04 (Lynx lucid).

I wasn't able to print with the initial program I had, so I install the hplip-3.10.5.tar.gz, make all the setup, nothing happen, everythings get in good way, but when I tried to print somethings, Error 5012 and Error 5021 appeared, "Device is busy"...
I uninstalled all this and reinstalled hplip-3.10.2.run. Exactly the same problem. I can't print. Always the Error 5012 and Error 5021 appearing.

I'm underqualified to do something with that.

I don't know what to do.

I'm having the same problem and getting the same Error. But for me everything was working fine and I was able to scan and print, but at some point I wanted to print and I got the same error. And now I can't scan either. I tried installing hplip-3.10.2.run but that did not help...

It says:
"In Synaptic select package libusb-0.1.4, then the menu item Package->Force Version, choose "2:0.1.12-14 (lucid)" and apply the changes."

It's exactly what I did and my printer's working back. So just forced libusb-0.1.4 and everythings get back right.

I forced the package to 2:0.12.14 (lucid) and I have the printer working now. But I still can't scan. I'm using HP officejet d135. Also I was able to see both the HP Fax and the HP Printer under printers but now I only see the printer and no fax. please help..
