HPLIB says print out complete but no print occured

Using Ubuntu 10.04 and HPLIB Toolbox with a HP deskjet D2680. The computer will tell me that the print out is successful but I get no printout. The program knows everything about the printer and can clean the ink jets.
But I get no error on print command. Nothing moves and judt tells me everything ok.
