how do I disable colors other than black

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500. I never use anything but black to print but my other color ink carts are low or empty & I now can't use the black. Is there a way to disable the other colors?

Launch hp-toolbox or open the cups web-page (http://localhost:631). Select Output Mode of your printer option as GrayScale.
