Did you set the CDDVDTray as the default tray in the system's printer configuration? In my case (with the Photosmart C5380, though), this was the problem: The hpcups and hpijs filter have a bug that it messes up the tray setting (i.e. it does not send the correct tray to the printer) if the default is set to the CD/DVD tray. As soon as I changed the global default tray to something else and manually selected the CD/DVD in the print dialog, the CDDVDTray was correctly chosen.
